godaddy for me. They are pretty good. You may find a little cheaper ones. But when you consider service, godaddy is the best.

I'm using my GoDaddy reseller account and 123-Reg. It really depends on .com verse country domains, or the number of domains you are registering.
If you have a domain management system that you like, use transfers to get the best buy rate (i.e. register 5 years at cheapest then move for an additional year to your system.)
If you are parking domains then Sedo, Afternic, and other auctions are a great place to buy and hold (either with traffic for resale or parking for cash.)
The answer like always is "it depends." If you only have one or two domains then register anywhere that will let you do a transfer without paying.
Best,
Justin

Majority said godaddy.... well may be I'll try for my next site...
Eventually you don't necessarily need your own site/domain. Solutions exist like using wordpress.com or blogger.com free blogs.
