I saw .info domain name is very cheap now in godaddy. Does any one know what the problem with .info domain name?

Spammers use it a lot. So it is supposed to have a bad reputation with search engines. Even then, if you make quality content and quality back links and do some good SEO then it should take care of your site.

True. You can use them for spam/black hat sites. You can also use them as a redirect in your EzineArticles signatures (as direct linking to affiliate url's it's not allowed).

I thinik there are some great .info domains out there that have been put into good use. The .info domain is growing in popularity and will be a leading TLD for travel and information portals...
