Got a question about private domain registration

can anyone help me im trying to figure out if i should do private domain registration if i pick this option does it affect your website hits. Does it affect anything or just does it make your private information not seen.

Makes sure your whois information is invisible.. So people can't bug you ;) or stalk you lol
