You can get a free domain name here www.dot.tk . The only problem is you don't have full control of your domain name. It is more of a redirection. If you want full access you have to pay. Any free domain name providers you know?

What a nice web site to post up..I am not sure of any providers that do this...But not having full control doesn't seem to good at all :o But I will check it out great post I am going to give you REP for this :D

I just found out about that web site within the last few weeks.... I registered two domain names there but if they do not get traffic you loose them.... So you can't just register them and hold them.,... They have to be used or you will loose them...

I guess the pay option is the way to go, but the entension isn't anything to die for.,...

There are other sites offering free domains in exchange for a number of posts. Some of my domains were actually acquired from those kind of sites. And for your info, you really have the full control of it same thing as you're purchasing it yourself.

Can anyone confirm if we can register IDN domains in .tk extensions? If yes then it could be a good idea to register the generic ones in different languages.
