The shorter your domain name the better, because of course it is easier for people to remember and some people don't like to type in long domain names. The shorter the domain name the more expensive it is (I Think) because it is harder to find and it is very much more demanded by people.

But there are those that making all the best keywords their domain name would be an advantage. Examples like makinggoodmoneywithadsense.com something like that. I won't do that though.

isn't there like a max number of letters restriction for domain names?
Oh? I didn't know that, maybe I just forgot but that site was in blogger so he created that. Such as makingmoneyfromadsense.blogspot.com, something of that sort.

LOL, do you still own that domain? You probably could sell if just for jokes, could I have it if you don't want it? I still shorter is better because I have seen so many random 3 letter domain names selling at $50. There is only 999 avaliable combinations for 3 letter domain names right so it should be worth a lot?
Wow, what a loooong domain name. So you just parked it? How its going then?

shorter is better for people who will visit your website. but ofcourse, if you are the owner of the site, you wont just think of a short name, you will also consider the keywords on it thats why sometimes you end up with more than one word name site...

Long names help for SEO if you have the right words in it. It helps further if it is separated by "-" as then the bots will consider it as separate words.
