View Full Version : How to monitor list of desired domains?

I have over 1000 domain names that I would like to monitor for expiration and then register if the current owner does not renew. However, I have no idea when the current registrations expire, and manually looking up each name is too cumbersome. Once the name reaches the expiration date, I understand, fairly well, the process of using services such as Snapnames, Club Drop, Name Winner, Pool, TDNAM and Tucows to actually get the name, but what is the easiest way to find out exactly when each domain expires? I am somewhat worried that whatever technique I use to check may lead to competition for the name.

The only thing I know of is to backorder the names, but there are fees involved... If you backorder them, they would be caught, or attemptet to be caught in the event that they expire and are not renewed..
Backorders:

Yeah.. but backordering costs $19.0 and there is no guarantee that the domain will be bought or not.
Also, you stand to lose the domain forever :(
