I am about to buy a domain with a brand name in it.
The brand is something people do not think is an actually brand, but it is an actually brand trademarked by <a big consumer products company>.

Can I get sued for using it in the domain?

Thank you.

oops, just realized something. . . I meant to say AM I allowed to use {INSERT BRAND NAME HERE} in a domain name legally? . My bad!

Yes eventually you can.

I have heard of so many of these stores, where a company tries to sue another becuase it the two product NAMES might be confused by consumers.

Popular ones have been google in china, and canadiantire.ca and crappytire.com, which actually canadian tire really wanted.

Wierd.
