I'm finding domains related to my comparison shopping site through network solutions and have bid on one just to see if I will get it. I'm basically only buying this domain because it is listed at PR5 with Google.
Is this a good idea? I know that the displayed PR of web sites is actually several months old so this may actually be a PR0 domain.
There seems to be a large industry developed around buying expired domains so I'm wondering why exactly people are doing it if not for PR.
