Just i hear this great news..

.info reached 4 million registration as for yesterday..
now it becomes sixth most popular extensions after .com, .de, .net, .org and .uk

.info originally created for informative websites.. now its really proven most successful of the new extensions..
now-a-days most registrars offered .info domains for free for the first year,

this is the reason which led to a large number of registrations..

i have two .info domains.. in this one registered with geekdomain..

now i fell great having the .info domains..

Well when they are giving it away for free and selling it for $1.99 it will obviously hit 4 million but it still won't be worth as much as the .com, .de, .net, .org, and .uk domain names

I've got some .info's too..... I remember when they were giving them away free a few years back..... I think I registered about 20 of them at that time... I still have a few of them and I have been recommending them here and there...

Their popularity definetly is on the rise...

as what ive said on my previous post, it wont really matter if its .info or .com..coz i know some that uses both .info and .com...then .info is earning more than .com..

That is true but, I am sticking to my point, with them giving .info away for free. Its worthless to me now, how can you sell a site you get for free?

That is their strategy to give 1.99 domain to many people.
Just see they can easily hit 4 million. They aim for volume.

.info will get more popular, because they are cheap, anyone new to the web will buy the cheapest domain available, therfore they will be buying a .info. I also own a few .info's myself they are quite useful for making quick sites to sell on, people do still buy the sites :D

i think it is time to do info domain business instead of com
