If I put "123" in a domain name.. What are the pros and cons?

Like if i put "123" before a domain name "123domain.com"
Does it do any good?

It does alot of good as far as directory listigns.... Alot of people do this because they gain a higher visability in directtories and other places which list sites alphabetically...

AAA or 123 will always be listed at the top of the alpabetical lists...

But i suggest not doing that as it can reduce the returning visitors as they usually remember the name and it doesent look good to trouble your visitors :p

I really dont think it will do any good moreover I never have seen a number included domain name in google top search result .. A brandable number domain name i can remember is 1and1 webhosters .

If the domain is good I would let the customer know the PR of the domain and they keywords of where it ranks well in search engines.

I have a few questions.
1. what are the average expenses in maintaining a site? My understanding is that I need to buy domain name, hosting space, mail hosting and data base hosting separately. For all these an average of around 80 to 100 $ is the cost. Am I correct or wrong?
