eBay fees too high?

I left eBay in September and I had been making quite a bit of money on there but then they raised the fees, and raised them again. Since I left they've raised the fees again!

Does anyone else think that the eBay fees are too high? Thank you for your responses.

Yes and no. They raise the fees because they can. As large as they are they still remain the best place to sell your goods as you can reach the widest audience. You will still make more money with them than with their competitors in most situations. Of course, if they had stronger competition not only could they, but they would have no choice to lower their fees.

Very true, but my profit was in an area where I sold a ton of low margin items and when they raised the fees, I was put out of business. If I could sell a few wider margin items, I'd be fine but that just wasn't what my niche was. Hopefully things will work out again in the future for that one.
