How can you promote parked domains if it is just garbage?

I would like to know how can you promote parked domains when your site is just garbage.

You cant tell people to link to it, and there isnt any content, so how ill you do SEO?

You promote a garbage site with garbage links. There really is no way to get high quality links to a site with no substance. Forum signatures and low quality, free directories are some of your best options. Look for sites with lots of spammy links for drugs, porn, gambling, etc...The same sites that allow those will allow links for your domains.

When you park a domain name, usually it is used to get traffic resulting out of miss spelled searches.
