How can I make it so I don't get emailed every time someone replies to my topic?

Every time I get a reply on a topic, I get an email. I went into my settings to change it so I don't get emailed at all and I still get it. Is there a way to disable this? Thank you for your response (which will probably be emailed to me... lol)

Go to control panel and then edit options. Change your default thread subscription mode to no email notification. After doing this you will no longer receive an email each time a thread is responded to.

I am still getting email and I wish to no longer be emailed topic replies. I can't get it to stop! This is the only forum that does it and my settings are the same on all the forums I use!
