Has anyone here ever had LASIK done on them? I was thinking of getting it done but the thought of being awake while a laser raises the coroneal flaps is scary.

If you do it with a very reputed hospital, there is nothing to worry about. It is a common procedure now a days.

I've also heard horror stories of how it went horribly wrong with some people and their eyes became super sensitive. Also apparently it didn't work with some people and they're still wearing glasses after surgery. I mean glasses aren't so bad are they?

Just make sure you go to a hospital or clinic with licensed professionals and great feedback. Lasik eye surgery (http://www.docshop.com/education/vision/refractive/lasik/) can be very dangerous in the hands of non professionals. Let me know if you need help finding a reputable company.
