Network of sites using .info

Would it benefit using .info for all of your sites? I always go for a .com but since I'm planning to build a large number of sites, I'm thinking of taking a .info instead. But will it affect your site's popularity?

I have a couple of sites with .info but I got them for free. I would recommend .com as .info is barely worth anything any more because of the quantity of it.

I also encounter free .info but I don't get them as I think its of no use to me. I would always get .com. But for personal sites, .info would not matter I think.

Yea, .info would not matter for personal site, but its still hard to get good .info domain names for my personal site. Example my name has been registered in like almost every form in .info. They should not have gave it for free, because it just makes the name worthless.

Yeah, maybe they could rise it more like $4 so it is not that inferior from .coms. This way we could have a choice.

I don't think it would benefit very much actually....I think that stealing up all the .com's is the best idea people can go with right now because there is only so many of them left..And once they are gone they are gone..( like the 3 letter .com domains are mostly gone).

There's nothing wrong actually with .info. I always bought a few of them and they actually gained a decent traffic. What matters was your content.

IMO. just stick with the .com, its true it would barely worth anything because of its quantity.

.info is great for SEO purposes. I use it while making content oriented sites and it has always given me proven results. However, if you want to market your site by advertising then .com is the better option.
