View Full Version : Unregistered domains with PR
Is this really worth it? Buying unregistered domains that were PR 4 or 5? Will you buy one even if it does not fit to what you really wanted? I'm thinking of having one a while ago but the words or letters were really not good.

I don't go for them unless I have something actively ready for them..... They just wind up becoming an expense......
The problem in buying those kind of domains were really not suited on what you're looking for. Like I need an entertainment domain, but what is an available PR4 was a word without any meaning on it. So its really unrelated.

Yea, its worth buying unregistered domain with PR, because you can always advertise that its PR4 and sell it. But, I am curious what is the name of the domain?
Its a random name, usually not a dictionary word. I will buy one now, but how about after PR update this April, is there a possibility that it will drop?

If its a PR with 4 or 5, I would suggest to buy it, and put something on it before the next PR update. That might prevent the PR to drop. Also its hard to find a PR 4 and 5 in a deleted domain name site, so I suggest to buy it. Would you like to pm me the link if you are not buying it?
I have bought one neo and I'm glad about it as I really like it, I thought its a rumbled words but its not! I will actually order 1 again today. I will send you the details.

I usually don't go for sites as well unless I plan to make something out of them.
But if you have a Domain with PR just sitting there PR-4+ higher my sugestion is to get a word cloud.

Are there instances that from PR4 it drops to PR1 or even PR0? Does this happens normally? Or just rare?

I've had sites drop from a pr4 to a pr 1 over time by simply never updating them. So I'm sure that it's possible for that to happen.
I dont think it is worth to register such expired domains unless the backlink is real strong and is not yet removed. If the backlink is removed then the PR will be lost in next update.
