I absolutely hate domain name registrars that waste my valuable time by making it difficult for me to figure out how to transfer a domain away. These types of domain registrars make it simple for some things, yet difficult for others..

I'm trying to find my authorization code to transfer a domain away from this registrar and inside my account the auth code: space is blank. How convenient.

Phone is going to voice mail
No instructions on the website

https://www.domainsite.com/faq.php

Take a look at this:

Transfers
a. How do I transfer my domain name to Domainsite.com?
b. How do I check my transfer status?
c. How do I transfer a name between Domainsite.com accounts?

How about mentioning how to transfer a domain name away? - Bums!

I kinda agree with you but for other reasons.

I used go daddy to back order a domain, the name expired on the 29 of Oct, 2007
On the 30th of Oct 2007 the domain name I had on back order was registered and parked under domainesite.com.
I am not sure how they avoided the extra time (45 days) it takes for a domain to clear a registrar.

Maybe it was registered at DomainSite.com to begin with and the original owner renewed it before it went out of the redemption period..... That's one of those things I hate about backordering - it doesn't mean your going to get it - it's just a bit more likely.

take it easy, fishnagles, if you want to transfer out your domain name, most of regisrar will allow you to, if you can provide your domain name certificate,if the registrar bankrupt, you can contact ICANN,good luck to you
