Sell Domain vs Maintaining Domain

For those that have a site do you get sales from that OR honestly is it more from forums and auction sites. I know it could bring exposure to your names as the site would be indexed in search engines BUT im looking for solid sales direct from the site.

Please advise if the site was built mainly for promotion of names OR your main source of selling your names.

I would maintain them if there's a potential on the name itself. If not then I will park. But I think much better to develop it.

i will maintain my site for long term purpose, but maybe..if im not really that interested at all ill say ill park it than sell it...

I would always go with maintaining it for the long time. Worst case scenario, it costs a few bucks a year. But if the site picks up , you will surely profit from it.

I'd never park a domain unless it had great type-in traffic...and then I'd rather develop it and take advantage of the traffic that way.
