I just found a unique domain name well not really that unique, but here is an example of what I mean:

let ab = domain name I am planning to buy

currently there is:

www.ab.com

I want to buy

www.myab.com
and
www.absite.com

Is that against trademark laws?

I really think that you would be fine with that..... AB or something similar could be an abbreviation for a ton of different things.... I think you would be fine....

No, I was just using "ab" as an example it could be "google" in place of "ab". Will google come after me if I have "mygoogle" ?

It depends, some companies dont mind unless you damage their goodwill and some won't even allow anyone to register such names. The best bet would be to stay from such name to avoid future problems.
