Hi all,
I joined this forum in the hope of learning more about domining. I have experience in SEO and Web design, but domaining is still a pretty new concept for me. I'm hoping to change that by learning as much as I can from fellow domainers.
I'll be looking forward to your suggestions and advice regarding domaining, and would be glad if there is any way my experience can be of any help to any fellow member.
Looking forward to having a great time, not to mention learning a lot :)

Hey Clasione, thanks for the welcome. Since I've been introduced to domaining, I've always thought that combining SEO with it can produce some great results. It's reassuring to hear it from someone else :)
Any advice or pointers?

Only advice I can give you right now is to stick with .com domains... They hold the most value and perform well in search engines....
Also be careful who you buy from. Research the buyer/seller and try to be weary of sales that look to good to be true. There has been a lot of hype lately about scams and people selling domains with services like Paypal and then suffering charge backs after transferring the domain to the buyer.
From what I have heard there has been a pattern with Godaddy and Paypal deals. Just stay focused and pick up as much experience as you can. If your new, start with small buys and sells till you feel confident with the process...

Also, this was a very good article to read, even for people well versed in the industry:
