I am in need of some reviews and some criticism for my new site. It is an article directory, and the link to it is:

I really just need an opinion regarding the colors. Do you find them ok, hard on the eyes, ugly, or whatever you may think.

To be honest, I do find the black background very hard on my eyes. Probably a grey background would be better. Also the yellow color doesn't fit. The layout is awesome though. Good Luck with your site.

Thanks for the feedback. I changed the background color to a shade of grey. I also changed the colors on the logo so that they fit the site.

I think you shoud go with a white or light background... People have grown acustomed to reading paper or newspaper in the color white. It's easier on the eyes and feels more normal.... I think for an article site, you should definetly lighten up on those colors...

I also don't like the background for your topic. Maybe you can change it to something grey or something lighter. Dark themes only suit to gaming related sites though.
