A Philosophic Question

I am curious. The vast majority of domain names are bought without that name having a legitimate business attached to it, nor any intent of that, even though ICAAN regs say you must (to keep it). the names are being bought only for resale (at HIGH multiples) or only to have a page on which to put ads, therefore making it difficult for a person with a legitimate business idea to start that business.

how can this be justified?

Well, until ICANN sets rules specific to this, it's not unjustified..... There has actually been alot of discussion on this lately.... I think I just read something in the news on this exact topic yesterday...

This is circulating the news right now. You probably heard it over CNN or something I am really not sure or don't know which newscast it was on. This is odd domain sales and re-sells is a good market I don't see why it would be illegal to buy and sale domain names but this is what they think and they are the law hopefully this changes and they just continue to let people buy and re-sell domain names because it is a great market.
