What is the best place to backorder a domain? I do not backorder normally but there's one domain which has caught my eye and it is currently in Pending Delete mode. I am looking for a company which accepts paypal.

I have bought several domains in the past months but don't have the chance to understand what is backordering. Is it to reserve the domain? Just my guess.

Back-Ordering is something you you do if someone already or currently has ownership over a domain name. If you backorder something it means if the domain does happen to expire then you would be the first person contacted to get it when the domain comes up for sale.

But is it really guaranteed? What were usually the issues arise with this regard?

I have the same questions that Macy asked above. I would like to know about back ordering domains.

It's not a guarantee. But we're something like 2 for 4 on domain backorders. Usually if it goes into "DELETE" status, you're gonna get it. Don't be fooled by the fact that the whois says it's expiring soon, because a lot of the auto-renew domains, IMO, will just kick in on the last day. Keep in mind it takes about 90 days after a domain has expired to truly be deleted.
