Ok. I am going to be obtaining a domain name as well as a hosting service, the free hosting services are making me go insane. Their adds keep breaking up my website design. So I am looking for a plan that will not cost much more then 20$ a month(that has good flash/.asp NOT PHP) . Which do you think would be good place to purchase my domain name. Then after I get it who would I have host the site?

I agree, I would not suggest free host if you're serious with your sites. I would suggest take a hosting plan from Powweb or Godaddy. They were both great. Just check on their features which of those would benefit you the most.

Go for hostmonster or bluehost. They are good actually with excellent support. Though they have the same owner, hostmonster has more preferable features.

Always use my piece of advice:

* Never register your domain with a specialist web hosting company.
* Never get hosting from a specialist domain registrar.

I think your best bet would be HostGator because they have awesome packages and also very reputable.

I'm confused sufi, what do you mean by specialist webhosting and specialist domain registrar? Does that mean a webhosting company alone and a solely registrar?

Ok, I'll explain it a little

* Never register your domain with a specialist web hosting company. [Never register your domain with a web hosting company because they are often resellers and do not give you full control of your domain, you can even lose it if company is dishonest].

* Never get hosting from a specialist domain registrar. [Never buy hosting from specialist domain registrar (Like Godaddy) because it will lack quality stuff].

You should really take a look at these hosting plans at Searchen:
http://hosting.searchen.com and you can register your domain right there too. The fees are near if not the best out there..

I have 300 domains in my searchen account.

But Searchen is quite new right?

Sufi who is your webhost then? And how long have you been hosting with them?
