Does .org.uk Adress effect google rankings?

I have taken over hosting / web design on a site for a profit making company. The address was registered as a .org.uk address.

Simple question really, would google be ranking the site down because its a .org address or not. I know .org should only really be used chairtys.

Also how difficult / how long would it take to change it to another address (prob using forwarding as the address is on all the marketing material.) I know it can be done but would i loose what google rankings the site has already.

I dont think google have anything with .org.uk domain extension, the extension is as good as .co.uk
