I have a domain on Sedo that is getting a lot of traffic but no clicks. Is this normal? People just don't click. The name is fairly short and could be used for many things I suppose but I have focussed it. I think the name could be drawing interest until they are aware of the content. I don't want list the name here because I don't want to breach the Sedo parking terms by generating traffic. Would it be better to vary the content possibilities? I don't know if it is normal for a parked domain to be Alexa ranked but it is. And does anyone know a legit free appraisal service. I tried Nameboy and they said 7000-8000. But I don't know how legit they are. I tried estibot but they mostly go on traffic and don't recognize acronyms or made up names. Domaintops is a joke. Sorry about the length, i'm new.

I don't use sedo enough to really give an opinion, but why not develop it... If it's alexa ranked and getting good traffic, you may have a real gem for development...
ohh, and welcome to the forum.. :)

I agree why don't you develop it... Google AdSense clicks give more than domain parking.
When it is not worth to develope I use namedrive.com (http://www.namedrive.com/?ref=9048) and it works pretty well. It even supports IDN parking.

Google AdSense clicks give more than domain parking.
I'm betting on this.... I'm in the middle of developing 500 of my domains I have just had redirected for a few years....

Yeah, this is fairly common. I have over 200 domains parked there, some do better than others of course, but the more targeted you can make the ads on your domain, the more clicks you will get.
Try to optimize the ads the best you can for the best results on Sedo. ;)

There has been a tremendous amount of talk about developing your parked domains these days with PPC's on the low end and possibly moving lower.
