The question I present here is do I have to use a site like godaddy.com to register a domain name. If this is the case who is the cheapest out there?? I just want to register one and keep the name up there unitl I need to use it. Without any problems any suggestions are helpful!

Yes, godaddy.com is one of the sites which provide quality domain registration and are relatively cheap. You can register one and keep it until you need to use it but you will have to regularly pay for the domain whether you use it or not.

Yea, godaddy is one of the cheapest domain hosting site around. But, as I recommended before, you should sign up for a lot of mailing list from big hosting companies and wait for their monthly offers. That way you will get better deals from my personal experience.

I also will suggest Godaddy, so far most of the reviews were good. So if you're planning of a good site worryfree, go for Godaddy.

Hang on, before you buy godaddy, I would recommend to try to look for a better service. I just stumbled into a couple of problems with godaddy as I was trying to transfer my domain out.

I would prefer namecheap, so far they are the best. I haven't got any problems with them especially moving your domains.

I too prefer namecheap. They have monthly coupons so they're .com are always 7.99 . And i believe if you buy 25 domains in a year, you qualify for bulk pricing and you get them even cheaper...for 6.99

Yea, I will probably try godaddy again, but did you ever have any problems transferring a domain to someone else with godaddy. Or is it only me? Would you like to show me step by step how I can transfer a domain to someone once I sold it?

Thanks NeoAkenz
