My domain name has a n issue it has nothing at all to do with the actual domain itself and it is very lengthy. So I know am going to want to change it. My question is with this web most there is way more then enough room, should I just apply for a better domain name as well as make it a subdomain???(I really don't know how this is done either but have read this is one way of doing this)

Or do you think I should apply for a new domain name and open a new hosting site instead. Thanks for your comments and answers.(in advance)!!

Im pretty sure there is no way to change the domain name unless u copy it to another domain

Indeed there is no way to change the domain name unless copying it to another domain.
Just get a new domain and a new hosting site and you will do just fine :)

That will be the plan then. To get a new Domain and just park the other one for cash until it expires..Although I am not sure I am going to let it go ..There are only so many .com's still out there I will keep it just for renewal fees that isn't that much at all. Thanks for all the helpful comments I really do like them.

Just get a new name. Move your site completely to new one. Forget the old (only put a redirect to new site if possible). However dont do it quite often because it leaves bad impression on visitors.

yeah better get a new good name so you can easily get it recognized as your previous domain. Just do redirect.

You have to make a redirect from the old name to the new domain name. But you have to get a new domain name. And you need to move everything to the new hosting too.
