Does anyone own a domain name here??( Most of you probably do.)
Has anyone thought of making there domain name for valueable so they can sell it off for alot higher cash value then what you have paid for it?
Some domains sell for MILLIONS! :D , and everyone is trying to get a slice of the pie. I am just letting everyone know you can purchase web domains for 10$ and sell them for 10 MILLION!!. This is any web master's wet dream but it does happen you just need to find the right domain name and enhance it in any way you can.

Often you should make sure that your Domain Names are on automatic renewal, this way you are less likely do lose any of them and you need to so you don't lose your websites' from someone who has back-ordered your name. To bad it expired you should really have it set up for automatic renewal though. It doesn't cost much and it's easy to do. ;)

Yes it is indeed a wet dream to sell a domain which was purchased for 10$ for 10 Million $$$ :)
Just think that the owners of Google and Yahoo are selling the domains :)

I think it happened once. MSN (hotmail, I think) forgot to renew their domain. hehe. Someone registered it for them and kindly (no kidding!) returned it to them. :O

Get out... Seriously? - Boy were they lucky....
I actually did give a .com to a company once.... They really shoud have owned it but they didn't.... I gave the name to them.... They called for it and a year later I just gave it to them...

This was really nice of you to just give it to them...I would of made them pay...I would of made them pay good. Because that's supply and demand you had something they needed and so you could of put a nice strong price tag on it. I think that would of been the way to go really..But that was nice of you again like I said to just hand it over.;)

I could have parked it or redirected it, but it was a trademarked term, so it was a bit borderline....

What are you trying to do with it.
1) Make sure to get as many backlinks as you can on as many different fourms as you can.
2) Make sure to get optimized keywords so that your domain name will also be good with what you are trying to offer.
3) Start making re-directing content pages with the domain name written all over the content page and having it set to where the google bots see one page but if a person is clicking it they get re-directed to another. ( This is called Black-Hatting)
