Which is the default way to sell a domain name?

I have a great domain name (for example: windows.com) and i received a proposal for a interested buyer.

So, I tell him that i prefer paypal payment. So what are the next security procedures to do business??

You have to be careful with Paypal... If you are the domain seller you need to make sure those funds are clear first....

This is what generally happens in a Paypal Domain Scam:

- Buyer sends money with Paypal
- Seller Receives Payment notification
- Seller transfer domain to new party (irreversible)
- Buyer files fraudulent transaction with Paypal and Funds are reversed.
- Seller now has no domain and no money.

This is becoming a very popular scam.

I would say, buy good domains and submit them to auction sites. Another way is determining who are the "end users" to be targeted, such as companies or individuals who may have an interest in your domain and try to contact them directly.
