I'm interested in hearing about your experiences hiring webmaster services.
I manage a large number of websites and may be adding people to my team, as well as expanding what I offer to clients.
Please tell me your horror stories and successes. Anyone benefiting from this?
Best,
Justin

Well - benefiting from what exactly - hiring webmasters? I like to do most of the work myself and only hire for programming and/or tasks I'm not able to do myself.... This way I prevent as many horror stories as possible.... You now, like database looses, one of which I just had today....

I would see outsourcing webmaster services if I had multiple clients that I didn't want to
handle on my own, but otherwise - I do them myself.

If you have a smaller website, or one that requires only occasional changes you will probably be better off paying as you go as there no monthly mininums. Best of all, you can request changes weekly, monthly or anytime they are needed.
