No luck at all with this .name domain...... haven't even seen it pop up on doppy MSN yet.... These .name domains are really no good...... Was worth the $10 or $15 to test it out though.....

Yes very much worth it let you try out an extension that you have not tried out before.

The .name domain is virtually invisable.... Not even a listing on MSN has popped up..... Definetly wouldn't recommend them for anything....
.name is the weakest TLD in terms of reselling or developing. Even though it is meant for personal use, it doesn't make right sound. I'd still prefer .com if I wanted to open my personal blog.

I'm still a bit unconvinced that the SE's don't recognize .NAMES because, "it doesn't make right sound" - I think it's just that people aren't using them as much.

dot name is an open TLD . Any person is permitted to register , however, registrations may be challenged later if they are not by individuals (or the owners of fictional characters) in accordance with the domains charter . I never seen a search result in google or yahoo with .name website in top ..

Where did you register the .name? I have been looking for a website.
