new domain extensions?

I've heard of .name and .tv are there any other new domain extensions..

Yes one of the newest ones is an option for "porn" companies. It is .xxx I think this extension would do very good because of the fact of how it is used. And adult sites will soon not have very much of an option due to the fact that .com sex domain names will not be around forever and will eventually be gone. So I think going in there and getting some of the good .xxx's now would be a sound idea to do because of there value later.

Anything can use a .name extension.....

Personally I really dislike th .name extension and think it is a waste... Just another name for the registrars to sell..... I don't own any .name domains.... I probably never will either...

lol the .name sounds lame to me i think the best is the .com .org .net i oun a .com domain my first domain ever the .name should be for person individuals websites like websites about important person like presidents etc what do you think

Yea don't forget .xxx that s one too.. My collection of domain names will be adding more of these soon...:) I am goning to swoop up on all the good ones before they are gone. Then look around when the .xxx's actually get a market and SELL! SELL! SELL!....Good idea? Bad Idea? I'd like people's input :)

One drawback seems to be the possibility of the government forcing all porn sites to go to the .xxx extension. Another is the fear of many that a .xxx domain will make porn easier to find and view.

I usually don't buy those new extensions. They are fairly new in the market so it might affect how you market your business but it depends though if you're an expert on SEO. xxx then would probably be high priced.

There are many new gTLDs and ccTLDs emerging daily. I dont like them though because they are scattering the internet. Like you can see 50 different sites for same keyword (consider loan for example) with so many extensions.
