Best Domains under Consideration?

What domains, apart from .com, are currently doing well/ have potential in the future?
It appears to me that most .com domains are already registered (much to my frustration), so need a new direction to go in. .mobi's seem to be all taken too.

Any opinions will be appreciated :)

I think .info is the next most promising domain.... Alot of serious .info's being registered..... When you start seeing them get registered by government backed agencies, you know the future is bright for the domain itself.....

True . I have also noticed that there are alot of .xxx's still out there. The websites that were created for adult enjoyment site's.And am pretty sure there will be a good amount of name's not taken from this list because it is a very fresh list and not many people are buying .xxx's right now. But I think the adult company's will be fighting after the best .xxx names after it becomes more of the trend.So buying a few good ,xxx's and saving them might be a great idea.

I didn't know that .info have some potential in the future. If that is the case I'll get a few of .info then. I just hope they will be recognized soon.

The best is the go with .mobi its going to be the future there are about 50x more phones than pc, but its expensive I bought 1 at $70 when it first came out

I see a bright future for .in and .co.in domains because India is a big country and internet culture is very famous (You can also brand the .in extension as something else like Indiana etc.). Same with .cn, .jp, .dk, .de, .co.uk and .us extensions.
